REPERTOIRE Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition

AUDITION 

​

REQUIRED FORMAT is to list the information on the work in this order:

Composer (first & last name), name of work, number of work (e.g. No. 1), key (written as ‘in C major,’) a comma, the Opus Number /catelogue number or equivalent, plus any further title or number required

​

For example: 

Franz Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in C-sharp minor, S. 244/2

Frédéric Chopin Polonaise in F-sharp minor, Op. 44

PERFORMANCE RIGHTS AND AGREEMENTS

All Applicants and Competitors, by submitting an application, and any images, and audition videos,

agree irrevocably that the Competition has the right, without payment of fees to:

  1. televise, film, video, tape, broadcast, webcast or photograph all rounds of the Competition;

  2. produce, reproduce, adapt and distribute, without limit, recordings of all rounds of the Competition, whether in whole or in part;

  3. produce documentary or feature films and promotional material using such images and

  4. videos or part thereof;

  5. authorise (and sub-licence if necessary) Kawai Australia Pty Ltd to do likewise, but limited to the purposes of the sponsorship arrangements between Kawai Australia Pty Ltd and the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition Ltd.

 

The above constitutes an irrevocable licence to the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition Ltd (ACN

083 982 094) to use, adapt and reproduce (in its discretion) applications, images, videos and other

intellectual property associated with the Contestant’s participation in the 2024 Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition.

Media

All approaches to and from the media (as well as sponsors) must be made through and with the

approval of the Competition. Competitors may be required to be available for media calls arranged by the Competition.

 

Broadcasting and Live-streaming

ABC Radio and Radio 4MBS Classic FM may record for radio and broadcast the entire competition.

Performances may be filmed and recorded and live-streamed on the internet via the Competition website and various other digital platforms.

Acknowledgements

The First Prizewinner will, for a period of 10 years after the date of the receipt of such prize, include a clause in their curriculum vitae, biographical notes and performance programs, as an acknowledgement of their having been a prizewinner of the Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition.

Insurance

Applicants and Competitors are responsible for their own personal and property insurance. The Competition accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any sickness or accident or for any damage to or loss of competitors’ belongings whilst making their audition videos, in transit to the Competition venues or during their stay in Brisbane should they make the Finals.

 

AGREEMENT OF APPLICANT

I confirm I have read the above Performance Rights and Agreements above and Agree to all terms contained within and to all Rules of the Competition as published on the Competition website www.lev-vlassenko.com  from time to time. I accept that all decisions of the Judges will be final.

AGREEMENT OF PARENT / GUARDIAN (Required for all Applicants to this Competition)

PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE

Please note Applications will not be valid until payment is received

Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition Application Fee $200 (non-refundable)

 

To conclude the Application, the $200 non-refundable application fee must be paid by Direct Deposit and a screenshot uploaded showing the payment with the description/reference and so that the deposit can be verified. 

 

If a screenshot is unable to be uploaded an  email must be sent to contact@lev-vlassenko.com detailing the Applicant’s name with a screenshot showing the payment with the description/reference and so that their deposit can be verified.
