Recital Repertoire
All Competitors must present a 90-minute piano recital with a 10-minute Interval. (Interval is not included in the 90-minutes). Recitals should be as close to 90-minutes as possible, but not less than 85-minutes and not more than 95-minutes.
The program must include:
A Prelude and Fugue by Bach or Shostakovich;
A Virtuoso Study by Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov or Scriabin;
A Classical Sonata by Haydn, Mozart or Clementi;
A Romantic Work from the Specified List;
A Major Work of at least 15 minutes duration;
A Work by an Australian Composer; and
Own Choice of Work(s) if time permits
Competitors must take note of the following:
a. All Competitors must play from memory;
b. All sonatas must be performed in their entirety;
c. No works for prepared piano are permitted; and
d. Changes to nominated repertoire may be made up until 18 May 2021. Changes to the nominated piano concerto cannot be made.
