I-Ling Wu was born in Taiwan in 1982 and commenced her piano studies at the age of four. She has performed in a number of concerts and competitions in Taiwan.
In 1994 and 1997, I-Ling performed her own compositions in Japan for the Junior Original Concert, which have been recorded and distributed in Japan. I-Ling came to Australia in 2000 and has been studying with Natasha Vlassenko. She is currently undertaking a Masters of Music Studies at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. I-Ling received the Queensland Conservatorium Incentive Scholarship in 2002, and the Merit Scholarship in 2003 and 2005. |
