| Olivia Sham, 22, recently completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying with Elizabeth Powell. She graduated with first class honours and the University Medal. In 2007, Olivia will commence studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, on a full scholarship. Olivia won the keyboard section of the 2003 Symphony Australia Young Performer of the Year, the 2006 John Allison Piano Scholarship, and third place, Chopin and Classical Sonata in the 2006 National Piano Award. Olivia has played with the Melbourne and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (USA) and Ku-Ring-Gai Philharmonic Orchestra. Her performances have been broadcast on 2MBS-FM, ABC Classic-FM and TV. |

| FINALISTS ANNOUNCED |

The 4 finalists of the 2007 competition are, in order of play: Oliver SHE The Finalists will compete for $20,000 First Prize, plus a $5,000 People's Choice Prize, which is voted by the audience on the Final night. The First Prize winner also receives a number of performance prizes in Australia and overseas. Each finalist will play a concerto with The Queensland Orchestra, conducted by Marco Zuccarini, on Saturday 25 August at 6:30 pm at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Grey Street, Southbank, Brisbane.
