REN, Fei
Fei Ren is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Professor Christopher Elton, supported by the Anne Bellam scholarship and the Aotea Centre Performing Arts Trust Award. Fei graduated with a Masters’ degree at the University of Auckland's School of Music, studying under Professor Tamas Vesmas, and was the winner of the school's Concerto Competition in 2004. In 2005, she also won the National Concerto Competition, as well as receiving the Encouragement Award in the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition. Fei has performed with the Auckland Philharmonic, the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, and the Auckland Youth Orchestra.

Please join us for a sumptuous evening of Russian hospitality at its best. Starting with a traditional vodka toast, you will then feast on a Russian-inspired menu and enjoy performances by Russian pianists Natasha Vlassenko and Oleg Stepanov, as well as some of Queensland’s most promising young musicians.
