Anna Gould was born in Canberra in 1988. After completing Year 12, Anna moved to Melbourne in 2005 at the age of 16 to take up the offer of a place in the Advanced Performance Program at the Australian National Academy of Music, studying with Rita Reichman.
In 2006 Anna moved to Sydney to study with Margaret Hair. Anna has participated in masterclasses with John Perry, Marc Durand, Ian Munro and Lisa Moore. In 2006 she won prizes in the McDonald’s Performing Arts Challenge, and in 2007 was a State Finalist in the Yamaha Youth Piano Competition. In January 2007 Anna travelled to Los Angeles to participate in masterclasses with John Perry at the Colburn School. Anna hopes to study in the USA in 2008. |
