CUI, Roger L J
Eighteen year old Roger Cui was born in Shanghai and migrated to Australia in 2001. Since 2003, he has been a pupil of Natasha Vlassenko. Roger has won the Queensland Piano Competition three times, and has given many recitals in Australia and overseas. He was a prize-winner in the 2nd International Youth Piano Competition in Hong Kong in 2004. Roger has been engaged by the Australian and Norwegian Embassies to play concerts in Shanghai in 2006 and 2007. He is currently a second year student in the Bachelor of Music program at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University.
