After the opening three days of the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition, the Jury have determined that the following contestants will progress to Round 2 (listed in order of appearance): Oliver She Congratulations to all competitors on their Round 1 performances. The Semifinals take place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Grey Street, Southbank, Brisbane.  1999 winner Lance Coburn went on to win first prize in the Cologne International Piano Competition in 2001, and was recently appointed as Professor of Piano at the Royal Academy of Music, Dublin. |
