CHEN, Bei Mi
Bei Mi Chen was born in Qingdao, China, in 1987. He started his piano tuition at the age of nine with Yen Zheng, achieving his 8th grade exam at the age of eleven.

CHEN, Hao
Nineteen-year-old Hao Chen was born in Taiwan and moved to New Zealand in 1995. Hao began her piano studies at the age of six, and is currently an honours performance piano student at the University of Auckland, under Rae de Lisle.

Eighteen year old Roger Cui was born in Shanghai and migrated to Australia in 2001. Since 2003, he has been a pupil of Natasha Vlassenko.

CUTTING, Brieley
Lismore-born Brieley Cutting, aged 24, was the Keyboard winner of the Symphony Australia Young Performers Awards 2006. Brieley has performed as a soloist in Salzburg and Brussels, and in Australia for Musica Viva, ABC Classic FM and 4MBS.

Peter de Jager, now 18, was born in South Africa, relocating to Australia at the age of two. Peter studied piano for five years with Nehama Patkin.

Winner of the 2006 Australian National Piano Award, Amir Farid, 26, completed studies at the University of Melbourne with Professor Ronald Farren Price and at the Australian National Academy of Music with Rita Reichman, Timothy Young and Geoffrey Tozer.

Anna Gould was born in Canberra in 1988. After completing Year 12, Anna moved to Melbourne in 2005 at the age of 16 to take up the offer of a place in the Advanced Performance Program at the Australian National Academy of Music, studying with Rita Reichman.

Eighteen-year-old Lo-An Lin started taking piano lessons at the age of five. Since then, she has performed internationally in Taiwan, and across the US, including a recent performance at the Kennedy Center which was broadcast live over the internet.

Denny Liu is a 16 year old student with a full music scholarship at New Zealand’s King’s College. Born in China, he commenced his piano studies at the age of six, and has been studying with Qu Yong since 2002.

Currently a student of Nikolai Evrov, 19 year old Van-Anh Nguyen started learning the piano with her parents when she was 15 months, and was accepted into the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Young Artist Program at the age of four.

Oliver She is 16 years old and began his piano studies at the age of four. In 2004 Oliver was awarded the AMEB Hugh Brandon Memorial Scholarship and he was the winner in section one and two of the Yamaha Australian Youth Piano Competition in 2003 and 2005.

Afra Ming-Ying Su, 25, was born in Taiwan, where she studied piano from the age of eight. Afra moved to New Zealand at thirteen. She completed her Bachelor of Music at the University of Otago under the guidance of Professor Terence Dennis in 2005.

Anne Veinberg was born in Moscow in 1986. She started her piano studies at the age of six in Sydney with Lisa Tsebulya and Ella Fokina. Anne attended the Conservatorium High School, studying with Nikolai Evrov and Daniel Herskovitch.
